The Color Wheel Inc. installed the first Quantel Domino machine on the East coast, which is used for creating motion picture graphics. The Color Wheel Inc. is already a heavy user of Quantel imaging technology and are now sporting six of their graphic paintbox systems with 3D capabilities. Acquiring the Domino marks the expansion into the film effects arena from the company's dominant position in print graphics.
