Twelve hours later, the Siths had accomplished their primary objective: sample all the beverages available on the Under The Table facility. They had also managed to accomplish their secondary objective: dig up any information about the notorious Tommy G. The information wasn't pointing in a good direction either.
Palin stood, then fell face first onto the floor of the shuttle. Rick assisted her back into an upright position. She eyed her drinking buddies-her comrades-and voiced what they had all been thinking over, "Well, every bar and casino here cut us off about five hours ago. We might as well head back to the SSD to tell JeniViolet and Lord Pilot Thunder that the transmission was a plot to separate us all. Obviously, who ever paid Tommy G to send out this transmission wanted to keep all of us from joining Jace. Three, power up the shuttle and get us out of here. We need to hurry back to the SSD and prepare adequate defensesjust in case the primary target of our unknown enemy was the Super Star Destroyer. Stang, I hope it isn't too late. Thunder and Jen will understand-we had to test the beverages."
Suddenly, Star stood up, "Oh Sifffspifff, whad ifthe FFE iz gone ohh hall our Whyren gone we godda hurry nooow". Star crashed onto the cushioned chair behind her and passed out.
Rick dashed to the cockpit and fired up the engines. It would take three hours to get back to the SSDconsidering it wasn't too late.
Three hours later, the SSD loomed five klicks away from the shuttle. They had made itand in time to prepare to defend their precious Whyren Reserve stores. Twenty minutes later, the Sith investigative team was aboard and in the debriefing room.
Lord Pilot Thunder, JeniViolet, and Narska Plo'kre sat back and listened to Palin's report.
JeniViolet was the first to speak, "Wowthe Under The Table place sounds great! We should vacation there the next time we need some R & R. I wonder if we could just swing in the whole SSD. Thunder, make a note of this place in our logs."
Thunder put down her flask of Whyren's and entered the information and coordinates into the logs. "Is that it? Are we done? I need to restock my cabin's personal open bar."
JeniViolet glanced around, "Yes, we're done here-kriff, no wait! I almost forgot! Palin we need the information about that transmission thingy. Did you get anything on that?"
Palin, about to exit the debriefing room, turned back to JeniViolet, "Sure do Lead. You want me to debrief everyone about what we found?"
JeniViolet thought for a brief moment, "No. Just upload it into everyone's personal datapads. We can all read it over at our leisure. But, for now, we need to all get to the Bar Deck to celebrate your outstanding performance and hear a little more about this new casino/bar place!"
Palin smiled, "As ordered. Rendezvous on the Bar Deck in twenty parsecs."
With that, all of the Siths flooded out of the debriefing room.
Twenty-four hours later, only JeniViolet and Thunder remained sitting at the bar. They had managed to sober enough to not slur there words.
"So, 11, where is Tyros?"
JeniViolet finished her drink and then turned her attention to Thunder, "I think he passed out in his cabin about 5 hours agowhen we went for a torp run."
Thunder looked confused, "I don't remember you guys leaving the Bar Deckhuh, I must've blacked out some of the past twenty-four hours. Speaking of the past twenty-four hours. I wonder where Jace ishe is still not back."
JeniViolet rolled her eyes, "I bet he found some girl, some freakish little squint. I definetly won't let him take back over when he gets back. Huh, he probably found some girl and sobered up."
Thunder slammed her glass onto the bar and hissed, "That bastard. If he's sobered up, then he will have to deal with all of us. We'll put him to trialcapital punishment, of course."
JeniViolet nodded in agreement, "Of course. No member of Sith Squadron quits consuming Whyren's Reserve and lives to see a sip of water. Not one. It is what makes us strong, invincible, powerful, at one with each other and the Dark Side of the Force. It differentiates us from all Siths-past, present, and future. He better get his six back here and fast, and he better have discovered a new source of Whyren's Reserve or have, at least, found Baron Reno."
Thunder, "Yeah. I was really impressed with the Siths' mission to the Under The Table Casino and Bar. Stang, I wish I could have been thereall the barsall the casinosthe teaming masses of patrons streaming in and outthe smell of smoke and liquorsthere is nothing like it-not even battle in our snubbies can match the discovery of a new source of beverages. How I envy them and their sacrifices."
JeniViolet smiled, "Indeedvery much so. Maybe we should award them with some kind of medal for their daring venture. What do you think?"
Thunder pondered over the thought for several minutes and another glass of Whyren's Reserve, "No. I think we should just throw them another party and give them each a free case of Whyren's Reserve. We want to give them something to be proud ofsomething they will remember."
JeniViolet slapped Thunder on the back, "Lord Pilot Thunder, when you're right, you're rightand, once again, you are right. I'll arrange for another Whyren's Brawl. You keep the seats warm."
Thunder smiled and wobbled on her stool as she turned to face JeniViolet, "Compliance, Lead. Sith Two out."
