For many centuries a human tribe lived on the far side of the Thunder
Mountains. The land was called Ariose (The blessed swamp). The people were
called the Ariones. A strong tribe, they lived happily there for many, many
years. About half a century ago a dark evil attacked the land. The swamp
began to dry up. Plagues and famine struck the people of Ariones. Thousands
died. But still they struggled for many years to keep their land.
Near the end a great black horde attacked the tribe. Thousands of unnamed
beasts swarmed them like hornets. A great battle waged for many days. In the
end, what was left of the Ariones was forced to flee.
For years the Ariones traveled thought the Thunder Mountains. Facing the
giants and other dangers of the land. Finally they broke through the
mountains and entered into the mystic woods. Where they now live to this
day.
Before being forced from there home a prophecy was spoken. That one day the
people of Ariose would again become strong. Raising a mighty army, they
would travel back though the Thunder Mountains and reclaim there land. This
prophecy is taught to every child born to the Ariones. This is the world
were Ringstone was born.
At twenty Ringstone stands at 6'2. Muscular and lean he weights 260 pounds.
His skin is a dark bronze color. His hair, which he lets grow long and wild,
is coal black. His eyes are gray, but have permanent blood red coloring at
the corners due to a sickness in his childhood. Giving him the appearance of
some one who never sleeps.
Like most of the youth of the Ariose he dreams of the army that will take
him to a land he has never seen. To this end he joined the Mystic League.
Strong willed and God fearing he desires to train, if not be part of, the
warriors spoken of in the prophecy. He feels the league is the best way to
train, test his skills, push his limits and get a taste of warfare.
