Orange Cake - 10 inch Bundt pan, grease and flour, and set aside. Sift together 3 1/2 c Flour and 1/2 tsp Salt, set aside. Cream 1 c Butter or Margarine with 2 c Sugar. Then, add 4 eggs in one at a time. In a separate bowl, mix 1 tsp baking soda with 1/2 c buttermilk. Add flour mixture to wet ingredients, alternating with the buttermilk, combine completely. Fold in fruit and nut mixture. Pour into the Bundt Pan. And Bake on 300 for 1 Hour and 45 Minutes. When, cake is still hot, poke holes and pour a mixture of 1 cup Orange Juice with 2 cups of Powdered Sugar. Refrigerate before removing the cake from the pan. Fruit and Nut Mixture: 2 (8oz.) Tubs of Candied Orange Peel, 1 8oz. Package of Chopped Dates, 2 Cups of Chopped Walnuts or Pecans, 1 Can (1 1/3oz.) Flaked Coconut (1 1/3 cup), 1/2 Flour and 1 1/4 cup Sugar. Stir together, and set aside.
