"Sopranos" Holiday Recipes
(New York-WABC, November 26, 2002) — A "Sopranos" star is making an offer you can't refuse. The TV hit man is sharing a secret family recipe, just in time for thanksgiving. Eyewitness News Lauren Glassberg cooks with Furio (a.k.a Federico Castelluccio). 

Federico Castelluccio shared with us his family's recipe for Manicotti. First you need to prepare these three items: (click the links for directions) 

*	Crepes 
*	Marinara Sauce 
*	Ricotta Mix 
Once you have the crepes, sauce and ricotta mix ready, put them together and bake them at 400 degree for five to ten minutes, or until the cheese melts. 

Sopranos Recipe: "Crepes"
(New York-WABC, November 26, 2002) — The "Sopranos" Cooking Recipe For Crepes: 

Crepes (For Manicotti) 

2 cups Flour
2 Eggs
½ cup water
1 cup milk
1 tbl oil
a pinch of salt
a pinch of white pepper

Preparation Instructions: 

In a mixing bowl, whisk together all ingredients until thoroughly mixed. 

Cooking instructions: 

On a heated non-stick pan, ladle 1 oz of mix. Cook until completely dry, forming a very thin pancake. Remove from pan and lay flat to cool until use. 

Sopranos Recipe: "Marinara Sauce"
(New York-WABC, November 26, 2002) — The "Sopranos" Cooking Recipe For Marinara Sauce: 

Sauce, Marinara 

1/4 Cups oil
2 tbl sliced garlic
6 lb 10oz Alta Cucina Tomatoes
1 tbl chopped fresh basil, packed
1 tbl chopped fresh parsley, packed
Pinch salt
1 tbl tomato paste

Cooking Instructions: 

Cook garlic in the oil for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add tomatoes and bring to a boil. Cook for 30 minutes and stir every 5 minutes to prevent sticking. After cooking for 30 minutes, add tomato paste. With a heavy wire whisk, mix the sauce into a smooth consistency. Cook for 15 minutes longer. Add salt, basil, parsley and cook for another 10 minutes. Continue stirring to keep the sauce from sticking. 


"Sopranos" Recipe: Ricotta Mix (For Manicotti)
(New York-WABC, November 26, 2002) — The "Sopranos" Recipe For Ricotta Mix (For Manicotti): 

1 lb Impastata
1/4 lb Mozzarella, shredded
2 tbl Pecorino Romano
3 Large Eggs
1 tsp Dry Parsley
1 pinch Black Pepper
2 tbl cold water

In large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients stirring until thoroughly mixed.
