Tortellini Bean Soup

*	1/2 cup chopped bacon 
*	1 clove of garlic 
*	2 cans of kidney beans (red and white) 
*	1 can crushed tomatoes (28 oz.) 
*	1 can chicken broth (32 oz.) 
*	1 can escarole (18.5 oz) 
*	1 package of cheese tortellini
 
Mince the garlic, chop the bacon (trimming the fat) In a pot put some olive oil and add the bacon and garlic. Place the chicken broth and escarole as well as the crushed tomatoes into the pot. Simmer for 1/2 hour. Then drop the tortellini into the pot. Add the beans with 5 minutes left to cooking the soup otherwise they'll get too soggy.
