A pair of soul-piercing golden eyes glared through the darkness of night, as a shadow slips among the familiar trees to the place that served a home. Home, a more or less cleaned out junk yard of assorted furniture, vehicles, old kitchen accessories and odd bits of metal so rusted that one could not figure out what they once were. Junk left over from failed expeditions in the woods, in the depths of the evergreens, where humans had not been for decades.

The sleek black wolf loped among heaps of scrap metal, ears droopy, eyes glazing over in exhaustion, with paws of leaden weights, he walked/dragged towards the center of the hills of metal. The black wolf entered a circle of old junk cars and trucks resting bumper to bumper lengthwise, except a large off white van with rear doors open, showing an interior of scattered blankets.

Two pairs of eyes shone from within the van, as a huge thick pelted silver black white wolf jumps to the ground, followed by a sleek gray female wolf.

" Razor you have been gone for a long time. Have you found the Pine Creek Clans latest location?" A strange voice echoed as the large alpha stepped closer to Razor, head and tail held high as a mark of leader status. Fangs eyed his subordinate. Razor glanced around as four more pairs of glowing golden eyes emerged from various windows and doors of the circled vehicles.

"More or less I can show you where they camped out, it looked like they would move again though." Razor muttered, his legs trembled to keep on his paws.

" So why don’t you follow them Razor? We need the location!" Fangs growled golden eyes glaring in rage. The slender female stepped forward putting her muzzle to Fangs cheek.

"Give the poor pup a break. I can hear his bones quaking from here." Claw said softly, knowing how much pressure her mate was under. They had not had a catch in months, and the supplies were down to crumbs. The pack could hunt game but was not skilled enough to live on prey animals alone. Besides deer and others were very scarce due to the enormous were population in the area.

Fangs sighed. "Very well, go with the others, you are needed in good condition. Have ghost, take a look at you." Razor lowered his head respectfully and backed away as Fangs bounded lightly back into the van with a frustrated growl. Claw smiled in wolfish triumph and jumped after Fangs.
