This series begins right after the episode Necessary Evil of the second season and the series ends sofar after the episode Chakram of the fifth season. This series mainly consists of Xena and Gabrielle going through the test of time and coming out only stronger in their relationshop together.

At the sametime, Janice Covington and Melinda Pappas take a large role in this series. Their first story, The Return, begins around nine months after they met in The Xena Scrolls. Through the stories, The Return, Nightfall Once Again, and Time's Changes their destiney together is revealed. Along with the stories tell their relationship and connections with Xean and Gabrielle.

The stories, The Return, Cross Winds, Flying Time Warp, Nightfall Once Again, and Entity of the Soul all intertwine within the second season of the show. Then the time frame is sped ahead through the story, Time's Changes. The final story, The Dawning, starts directly after the Chakram episode. The only thing that is different to this story compared to the show, is Xena isn't pregnant while Ephiny and Solari are still alive.

This series, The Binding of the Soulmates of Time, is considered over but not official. The series will not continued unless there is a high demand for it to continue. The Dawning as of now is considered the last story of this series. But it is highly possible that a sub-series will be created off the stories consisting of Janice Covington and Melinda Pappas. There is still much left to do with these two characters. This possible sub-series of Janice and Melinda though would not begin till the summer of 2000. Otherwise, this series is over unless the readers would like it to continue.
