Gabrielle is still recovering from her hometown's destruction. When she thinks things will settle a warlord only kidnaps her. Xena finds her soulmate and the warlord but both women are forced into training this warlord's army. Eventually the soulmates escape from the warlord and head to the Amazons for help. The Amazons then must confront this warlord in a battle.
