The Latest MECCG newsletter #6 is now out! Check the Dutch Council or the Council of  Lorien sites to get your issue. 

The Silent-Tower is back! The original newsgroup/mailing list for MECCG is back. Mario Butter owner of the list has returned with the official list after being down for months. We're all glad to see the list back online. Members of the list temporarily camped on yahoo.groups to keep the meccg community intact. Is this confusing? There will be an MECCG tournament in Northern California on November 17, 2001. The event is being coordinated by Dave Stegman and the order of the Grey Havens. Check out the Council of  Lorien Site for more details. 

Also we would like to extend Brian Wong our congratulations for winning the top spot in the 2001 MECCG World championship. The Championship was held in Montreal, Quebec Canada. Way to go Brian!!!

NEWS FLASH: The Official MECCG News Letter has a new issue! This fan news letter by James Kight was originally known as the CarolinaCon Regional MECCG Newsletter. The earlier issues have been revised. There were originally 4 issues that cameout until it went on a long hiatus. 
The newsletter had lots of info about MECCG which were both helpful and informative. The first four issues are currently archived for download at the Dutch and North American Council websites (please see the Links page). As of this writing, the latest issue (#5) can be found at the Dutch Council but will also be available soon at the North American website. 

The Council of Bree's website "The Prancing Pony" is no more. They moved! Their new site can now be found on http://www.councilofbree.5u.com/meccg.htm. It is now called the MECCG Gamer. Go check out their new card ideas section, the cards look awesome.

Two succesful MECCGs events were held here in the western US. One was held last May during Memorial weekend in Los Angeles, CA. The other in Seattle, WA last June 23rd. Watch for reports of these events to appear on the Red Arrow's Point section of this site soon!

MECCG tournament at GATEWAY 2001
Attention!!! There will be an MECCG tournament at GATEWAY 2001 a gaming convention in L.A. held at the Westin Hotel near the Los Angeles Internatinal Airport (LAX). Held during the Labor Day Weekend, the event will be held on Saturday September 1 at 4pm.
The event will be a sealed deck format. (There is an $8 cost for a starter deck and boosters). But don't forget to bring your own constructed decks for some casual gaming from other players at the event.

MECCG tournament at GAMEX 2001
Attention!!! There will be an MECCG tournament at GAMEX 2001 a gaming convention in L.A. held at the Westin Hotel near the Los Angeles Internatinal Airport (LAX). Held during the Memorial Weekend, the event will be held on Saturday at 4pm.

MECCG Worlds tournament will be held in Montreal, Quebec CANADA!!!
The Council of Elrond, as announced by Chad Martin,  in the MECCG mailing list, the World tournament for MECCG will be held in Montreal. Other venue considered by the council was Atlanta, Georgia US.

MECCG at the LA Convention
Our fellow MECCG enthusiast Anthony Barret is organizing an MECCG tournament at the ORCCON hosted by STRATEGICON  (February 16-19). The format will be constructed deck. It will be held at the Westin Hotel near the Los Angeles international Airport. For more details visit the Strategicon website at www.Strategicon.net

The MECCG event will be held on February 17, Saturday at 4 pm. So be there. And tell them that the Red Arrow told you to come. : )
