Water: A Human Right

Water, sanitation and hygiene education provide the key to poverty reduction. Community based projects which combine these three elements have proven to be effective for improving health, with long lasting and wide reaching results. Health benefits will be maximized when the focus of education links the lack of water, sanitation, and diseases. Water is a human right! CWS-CROP enables communities to obtain and manage their own clean water supplies and water shed resources.

Give someone a bottle of water - you'll quench their thirst. Give a community a well - you'll change their lives.

Water has been, and remains, a key issue in many wars, a mark of civilization, a necessity for food growth, and an essencial part of good nutrition.
