PREFACE
The specific is nature of Redbourne’s General Theory of Universe Structure and Dynamics is to conceptualize the mechanisms of physics, from the quantum level to cosmology. I provide the Quantum Theory of Gravity, which unites the Theory of Relativity (gravitational relationships, among others) with Quantum Mechanics (atomic and sub-atomic forces and energies relationships) into the Grand Unified Field Theory of Everything.
Predictions in this book are simple "If: Then" statements. I do my best to boilerplate the "If" premises. But there are also some outright guesses about possibilities and spin-offs.
I intend this dissertation as a conceptual thesis at the post-doctoral level, but it is written at the popular level.
In some ways this treatise may appear somewhat juvenile because any math used is mostly just basic arithmetic. Or it may be taken to border on the fantasy of science fiction. But make no mistake: This is a serious work of science, based upon solid facts. I provide mechanisms, not math, for the Seven Modes of Gravity and the proven theories of Relativity and Quantum Mechanics. Any conjecture I indulge in is to suggest Predictions, Experiments and Applications.
All topics listed on the cover of this book and in the Introduction have serious questions attached to them at this time, February/ 2000. Every one of those topics is clarified at least somewhat herein, and tied legitimately into my whole Unified Theory of Physics, which is titled " J. Raymond Redbourne’s General Theory of Universe Structure and Dynamics". This is not a work of painstaking detail; it is an overall Umbrella Theory. I have addressed every question of which I am aware. If there is anything important I have missed, I will be pleased to hear about it. I will be even more than pleased to hear supporting arguments. I thank those Ph.D’s and others like my sons and brother, who have already responded positively. The ball is rolling.
Heartfelt thanks to all the research scientists, design engineers, science fiction writers, and hands-on mechanics; past, present and future who help to make this world an exciting place of imagination, adventure and discovery. Thanks to the soldiers, sailors and airmen who fought and died for our right to think and speak freely. Thanks to the Pierre Curies, Martin Luther Kings and Astronauts who died at the leading edge.
Reading through the Contents will establish the method of approach and the subject matter covered. I definitely suggest reading the Contents to gain this overview, before going on to the Introduction. The "Spiral System" of teaching is used, where a subject is introduced in a general overview first. The subject is touched upon repeatedly, with greater depth each time. Then finally applications are described using these references. Experts may find this repetition a bit boring, but it is necessary for the newcomer.
My apologies for the roughness of this presentation. I’ve had no proofreader available to pick up fuzzies, ambiguities, typos, sarcasm, and stupid mistakes. Also, I lost the video signal to the blue gun on my monitor, gave the ‘puter a little tune-up whack, and crashed the hard drive. If some publisher decides to pick this up, the published issue will be far more professional.
I’m told I make too many off-the-wall remarks. That’s the real me. I’m leaving my brain to McMaster University for the shrinks to break it down from wholesale into retail packages, and pickle it. It’ll cost them two pennies so my eyelids don’t fall back into my head. I don’t know that they’ll find much of interest other than scar tissue left by old girlfriends.
