Your points are well taken. (I even agree with many of them.) I would love to know who you are and talk further. It seems to me, being a "newcomer" on the high school scene, that there are control issues that need to be considered. Who should be in control of the students? Who should be in control of the learning environment? Who should take responsibility for the successes and failures of everyone at Sweet Home (students, teachers, and administrators)? I think the answer to these questions is simple, however the solution is not.
