dear peaceful
Ask the students at Columbine or Elmira if the adults within a building, the professionally trained adults, shouldn't have control over the comings and goings of the student population. On a more personal note, I ask that if you have a personal problem with my style make an appointment to see me so we can talk about it. You don't know the first thing about me. I challenge you to point to any decision I have made and truly label it cruel, harsh, arbitrary or capricious. Dig a little deeper before you make such blanket statements. Cameras in the building? I have know what you are talking about. In order for that to occur Board of Education approval would be necessary. (Not a bad idea though.) Once again think and investigate before you speak. I encourage you to go back and read your constitution again. I don't believe Madison, Hamilton or any of the the framers intended a society without laws. I also encourage you to read Justice Holmes decision Schenck v. U.S. (1919). You can't yell fire in a crowded theater. You might want to read a little Mill as well, On Liberty, is a good place to start. These might give you some better perspective on the decisions large institutions must make. Thanks for the feedback though. Remember what Voltaire said " A may not agree with what you say,but I will defend to the death your right to say it."
