The Necessity of Tongues  


“Don’t throw away the baby with the wash water” Just because someone misuses the gift doesn’t mean that the gift is no good.  Certainly this gift seems to be the most unnecessary, unattractive, and foolish of  things, however in truth it is the most powerful and valuable tools that God has given us. 

When I was in business a few years ago and I had a big impossible problem to solve and didn’t know how it would be done I would pray in the spirit ( that is in tongues) as I traveled the road to the job site.   Entering the meeting, I found my impossible problem had been resolved even beforeI arrived.  This happened more that once.

When I sat in dentist chair having my teeth drilled on without Novocain,I would pray quietly in the spirit and there was no pain and it was donequickly.

Then when the airplane which I was riding in was crashing into the treesI was praying in Tongues.  Afterwards as I laid in the debris and gasoline on the ground in no pain but unable to move. the pilot was crawling on top of the plane heard me and called down to me are you all right.   And I answered him.  He was able to call the rescuers into the crash site, but by the time they arrived they found me dead and so left me and took all the others to the hospital.   Sometime later one of the investigators on the seen, heard me praying in tongues and called for another to come back.
When I arrived at the emergency room one of the attendants heard me praying in tongues.  They took me directly into the operating room. Openingme up found my liver was torn. At that time there was no repairing of tornlivers, so they sponged up the excess blood and sewing me up and sent meto intensive care expecting me not to survive long. 

During the whole time I remember nothing.  It was like I was in heavenly place and Jesus himself came down and bore all the pain and suffering for me.
About a week later I awoke, without pain, and a nurse told me I had beenin an airplane crash.  

Then, quickly they began to set all the bones that were broken.  Someone said all the bones on my right side were broken.  My foot crushed, my ankle, my hip, the pelvis, crushed rib cage, and left arm.   The doctors then decided I might live, but would never walk again.
Laying in traction those weeks kept me praying and looking up. and manyother things happened along with some miraculous healing in some parts ofmy body .  When I began walking a few weeks later, the doctors said,in two years you will have authoritist so bad you will just sit in rockingchair.

Almost 30 years have passed since they said that and I still pray in tongues, walk, run,
climb towers, and praise the Lord Jesus.  Some of those doctors died and some also were converted to Jesus and speak with tongues, and also their families.

I was ready to meet the Lord when the plane went down.  The Lord quickly let me know that there was more here he wanted me to do.   Part of that was to help with the translation and showing of the Jesus Film in Haiti.After that were other things and this. Still He is not finished his work.

Don’t let Satan steal this most important gift from you.  It is in fact conformation of your conversion.   If the gift has not beenmanifested in you, wait or tarry, it will come.

Satan has his groups using tongues.  We saw that often in Haiti at voodoo services and also in many strange cults and denominations here in the USA.   Not all who call themselves Christian are Christian.   Satan often mimics Gods best gifts and especially in these last days. The gifts are never given higher place than the Lord Jesus.   Alwayslooking toward Jesus, and not the gift.   Submit ourselves completelyto Jesus Christ and his word and repenting of all our iniquities.  Bydoing such we will not be deceived by counterfeit spirits and become thefool of Satan’s ugly deception.

It is near impossible to rescue those who have fallen from grace into Satan’s net of false Christianity.  His word says that...Beware of false prophets, they will deceive many.  Know what the Word says. They will twist it and you too if you are not careful.
The Sign of the end is the great deception.

Acts 10:46  For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

Acts 2:38  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and yeshall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 19:6  And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

1 Corinthians 14:22  Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

1 Corinthians 14:39  Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.           

Ephesians 6:11  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be ableto stand against the wiles of the devil.
Ephesians 6:13  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
