Entry for April 7, 2007

I just filled out my entry for the Cattaraugus County show coming up on the 14th. I have a few rabbits that I was trying to decide whether to enter them or not. One muinute I can think they look like winners for sure with that depth and width and round hindquarters and then I will check them the next day and wonder how I ever could think they look like winners....gee I'd be lucky if they came in the top 3. Did they change any overnight? NO! I'm sure I'm not the only one to do this. In fact now that I think about it I'm sure judges do the same thing. They could place one as BOV and later look at the same rabbit and place it 3rd in its class. I forget who the judge is but one even says "TODAY... the rabbit that is BOB is...." I guess he must realize that opinion changes from day to day. So I guess I will look over my rabbits and remind myself that it had to be good enough for me to pick it out as a keeper and go from there.
