So now I finally condensed all of my artwork, illustrations, cartoons, paintings, etc., onto one page. Yay!

Recently someone asked me what were my influences when it comes to illustrating, etc. The Art Nouveau period is a major part of it. The Art Deco period was an inspiration as well...However, now when I think about, I believe that comics/cartoons such as Hanna-Barbera, Archie comics, Harvey Comics (the people that brought you Wendy The Good Witch and Casper The Friendly Ghost), blah, blah, blah. Later on underground comix/artists like Robert Crumb, Love and Rockets, Omaha The Cat Dancer, HATE, etc. Early issues of Heavy Metal Magazine (especially from the 1970s to early 1980s) was also an influence.

These were done in basic watercolor. All of these paintings here were done as gifts for various people.

 Magick Forest 2000

 Sitardelik 2000

Sowilo 2001

Wiccan Tree 2001

MAGICK FOREST, Summer 2000. Watercolor and ink. Currently on display in the person's apartment.

SITARDELIK, 2001. Originally a present. It was later used for the cover of a CD. A lot of people seem to enjoy this one. At the time, friends have told me it was one of the best watercolors I had done. Someone even thought that the painting was store bought.

SOWILO, August 2001. Watercolor and ink. This is the Sowilo rune, representing happiness, success, fulfillment, highest awards and recovery. I created this painting as a birthday present for a friend who uses runes every so often. This rune correspond to the fire signs, which are Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. That was one of the reasons why I choose to paint Sowilo, since the person I was doing this for was a fire sign.

WICCAN TREE July 2001. Watercolor and ink. I know, I could have given this artwork a better title. The painting was a "thank you" to someone nice enough to create a wand for me.

Here's a few notes about the pre-2000 period...

SEXYTOON4, This was done quickly spring 1998,Pen & ink, of course. I was supposed to be working when I doodled this on one of my so-called "former places of employment."

SEXYTOON, Sept/Oct 1997, Pen and ink. This was done around fall Of '97. This was suppose to be on a flyer for a local band.

ANGEL and DRAGON, Dec.1997, Pen & Ink. Two pieces done around the same time.
They were originally done for a zine in the UK titled "Urban Groove", edited and published by my friend. (A few years later on, my friend asked me to design the website.)

SEXYTOON5, Fall 1998, Pen and ink. This was inspired by an old '70's Playboy cover, as well as from a dated East Village bar/club flyer. I just changed the hairstyle 'cause I always preferred brunettes over blondes.

UNTITLED, summer 1998, pen and ink. Her face reminds me of Nico for some reason.

GLAM TRANNY, late spring 1998, pen and ink. Wham bam thank you mam'am...

CAFE DEATH, Pen and ink, fall/winter 1995. (Coffee beans and arnistic not included.) Looking back, this cartoon kinda reminds me a character that Poppy Z. Brite would have written about in one of her books. This was done so long ago...I think I did it one night after work. This was around the time when Starbucks started opening up their little cafes all over the country, selling their over-priced coffee.

BAD SEED, 1995 (?), pen and ink. This actually freaked someone out...?

MANS RUIN, 1999, pen and ink.

OI GIRL, Early Summer 1999, pen and ink.
