Dr. Jack Kevorkian began painting in the 1960's when he enrolled in an adult education class in oil painting. In the 1990's he returned to his art with a series of eight original oil paintings exhibited to promote and fund his crusade to legalize assisted suicide. The originals are not for sale, but photographic duplicates can be purchased from the Ariana Gallery in Royal Oak, Michigan.
The following titles are six paintings from the series of eight, accompanied by Kevorkian's descriptions of each. Click on the title of the painting to view. |
