June 18 vs Blue Jays
Lost 5-1

This is just getting more and more frustrating. The offense finally gets hot and the starting pitching goes completely south. Our pen has been phenominal, but in our last ten games with the exception of Pedro vs the Yanks and Ramon vs the Braves, our starters have failed to complete the fourth inning. Now, who was saying we couldn't use another arm?

I was at the game on Saturday, the one they alomst came back and won, but lost 11-10. If your offense can get you ten runs in a game, there's no excuse for loseing. The combo of Ramon and Wakefield was horrible, though once Ramon came out with the score 7-1, the four runs Wakes yielded seem somewhat insignificant at the time. But anything can happen in this game, and it almost did. The thing about that game, was that we scored ten runs, and Everett went 0-4 with three pop-outs and a wiff.

Ok on to yesterday's game. I'm going to chalk it up to Frank Castillo just having a good game while the Jays are hot, because we know he's not that good.

Looks like my prediction of the Jays holding first at some point this year could come true. I'm not too worried about them though, they don't have the pitching to stay in it all year, and they definetly don't have the pen for it either.

But the real frustrating part about this, is the amount of space we could have between us and the Yanks by now. The Chi-Sox did the honerable thing, and swept them in their own building, but we're still only a half game up on them. Ugh!

The Yanks are in town for four starting tonight. This is a huge start for Brian Rose tonight, he needs to finally put one together for the team. The game is scheduled for a 7:05pm EST start.
