  • Bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad! First we get shut down by Rogah, then a seemingly meaningless bomb off the bat of Jose Canseco turns out to be a game winner, and finally we finish of the weekened by allowing a frucking (yes, I spelled that right) rookie to completely shut us down. Not only are we miles from the division, but the eight games we have remaining with the Indians seem almost pointless the way we're going right now.

    Things seemed to start off on the right foot yesterday. The first two Sox hitters walked, the Yanks Rook was obviously nervous. But then of all things, we let him off the hook. All freaking year we haven't been a running team, and all year we've hardly come thru in the clutch. So what does Jimy do? He tries to double steal, WHAT! Why?

    Never mind the chore stealing second has been for us all year, but third? And especially with Everett, Nomar, and O'Leary all coming up. I swear Jimy was trying to loose. What other explanation for such a stupid call could there be? So we give up the first out, and take a base runner off giving the kid a small boost. Next Everett pops-out, and if it weren't for Nomar's double, he'd have got out of the inning scott-free.

    This sucks, plain and simple. Now we have to go back to New York to finish this series, and start the week behind not only the Indians, but also the A's and Jays in the Wild Card.

    Five runs for the whole weekend... sad.
