Blue Zyeilith
"Do you approve, oh Great One?" D'rien looked up at his dragon and waited. They'd transfered to Tiamat the day before...and were just now settled in their permanent weyr.
I think it is big enough. Zyeilith looked around, peering into all the corners and his riders quarters. Yes...it will be just fine.
"I'm glad...I don't think the Weyrwoman would have been too pleased if I asked for another weyr. This one's big enough for a bronze...I guess it was a good thing that we came to someplace so new."
I like it here. Bularith is not so broody...she'll talk to me if I have questions. The large blue ambled to his ledge and looked out across the Bowl towards the sands. There weren't many dragons...but all of them seemed tolerant with the new comers.
"The Weyrwoman isn't so bad either...I've yet to meet the Weyrleader...We're supposed to get a special wing assignment...Whatever that's about." D'rien leaned against his dragon, who lowered his head in a request for a caress. He complied, running his hand over the scar still on his lifebond's cheek before scratching his eyeridges.
You know...we did leave White River very quickly...and there was this one Green... Zy cocked his head a little, one eye focused on his rider.
D'rien sighed. "Why didn't you tell me before we left?! I suppose you want to go sign up for the flight?" Zyeilith nodded. "Of course you would...You're just as mad for females as I am...aren't you?"

D'rien laughed at his dragon's answer, then made his way over to the hook where he had put Zy's riding straps. "Alright, we'll go. Where's the Double Terror?" He carried the straps over to the large blue and, with some effort, put them on. A few minutes later his two firelizards appeared over his head. "We're going back to White River. If you stay here...try not to cause any trouble..."
Both Orca and Melia chirped happily, they were going too. Once D'rien was settled atop Zyeilith, and the blue had sprung off the ledge, the two flits perched on their bonded's shoulders before he gave the command to go /between/.
