Box Office Hours

The Box Office is open Monday through Saturday between 10AM and 6PM and on event days. Weekend hours are vary by events.

Will Call
Will Call tickets are available at the Box Office 2 hours prior to the event. Individuals must present the actual credit card, a picture ID and the confirmation number. The Will Call Window is located at the Box Office on the street level on the W. Jefferson side of the building.

Refund Policy

There are no refunds on any Red Wings tickets purchased.  All sales are final. Playoff ticket refunds will be issued for any unplayed games in the postseason. These refunds will be issued in the form of a check refund or a credit towards next years's season tickets.

Smoking Policy

There is absolutely NO SMOKING inside Joe Louis Arena.  Two designated smoking areas are roped off outside the east and west gates of the arena. You will need your ticket stub for re-admittance.

Camera Policy

Cameras with lenses under 54MM are allowed into Joe Louis Arena on game day. NO video recorders or flash photography are allowed.  Cameras with lenses that extend over 54MM are PROHIBITED.

Lost or Stolen Tickets


With the high volue of tickets produced, JLA recommends that tickets are to be treated like cash and kept in a secure place.  If even with the best efforts taken your tickets are stolen, replacements will be produced only after an official police report is received by the Red Wings Ticket Office.

Items Prohibited

Items banned at Joe Louis Arena include: outside food and drink, weapons, laser light pointers, flagpoles, air horns, umbrellas, bottles, cans, and coolers.
