GF= Goal scored by home team.

Goal Against: goal scored by opposition

PPGF: Goal scored during home team's power play which is anywhere from 2:00 to 4:00 depending on the time the opposing team member sits in the penalty box. A power play is usually a 5 on 4 ice advantage.

PPGA: Power Play Goal scored against the home team by the opposing team when the opposing team is on it's power play.

SOG: Shots Taken On Goal

ENGF: Empty Net Goal For: When the home team scores a goal in an empty net when the goalie has been pulled for the extra man.

ENGA: When a goal is scored on the home team's empty net when the goalie has been pulled for the extra man.

SHGF: Shorthanded Goal For is when the home team scoresa goal on opposing team's power play. When the home team is in effect , shorthanded.

SHGA: Shorthanded Goal Against is when the opposing team scores a goal during the home team's power play. When the home team is short handed.

PIM: Penalties In Minutes: self explanatory. How many minutes the team spends per game in the penalty box.

Wings score twice in third to salvage tie
TORONTO -- Steve Brule and Igor Larionov scored third-period goals to rally the Detroit Red Wings to a 2-2 tie with the Toronto Maple Leafs in an exhibition game Sunday night.
Toronto (4-3-1-1) took a 2-0 lead on the strength of second-period goals by Gary Roberts and Karel Pilar.
Detroit closed within 2-1 at 2:20 of the third when Larionov banked a shot off the skate of Toronto goaltender Curtis Joseph.
Brule tied the game at 2 at 6:06 of the third, one-timing a pass from Kris Draper from the left faceoff circle.
Roberts, who returned after serving a three-game suspension for abusing an official, opened the scoring at 13:57 of the second period.
Pilar made it 2-0 with an unassisted, power-play goal at 18:10 of the second.
Joseph finished with 35 saves, including several spectacular stops midway through the third period. He also stopped Draper three times in overtime.
Dominik Hasek had 14 saves before being replaced by Manny Legace at 14:35 of the second period.
Steve Yzerman, Brett Hull and Luc Robitaille did not dress for Detroit.
