The Passion
Of Christ

In the conversation, Mr C talked a little about the controversy surrounding the film, and asked our friend to support it and tell people not to be afraid to see it. Mr C also asked for our prayers for him and for this film.

Mr Caviezel asks us all to spread the word: to be unafraid to see this film. “The film turned out beautifully. Priests who have seen the film were awestruck…” including one who appeared to be in a daze afterward—for days.

Apparently, according to those who have seen it, it has turned out to be a beautiful, realistic work of art and truth, in spite of its graphic nature. One report describes each frame as looking like a Renaissance painting.

Mr C it seems is concerned that some people may hesitate to watch and endure the suffering and the graphic torture he depicted on film. Mr C reports that it was handled in the most reverent and respectful way. Because of the “…talent of the cinematographers, especially Caleb, it turned out to be absolutely beautiful”. Again, he underscored the ‘love on the set’ during filming that apparently shows up on film. “The audience can be inspired by it”, said Mr Caviezel.

In conclusion, Mr C’s and Mr Gibson’s whole purpose in delivering this project is for people to see this film.
