Why do we make lists of all we like or mislike? Is it a sort of inner annotation of who we are? Analogous to the "height,weight, hair and eye color" descriptions we submit for visual representations? Maybe it's a way to relive the pleasures, distastes,hard lessons, or joyful revelations we've experienced. Do they represent our desire to share an insight, or open new venues,gain appreciation ? Maybe some, maybe all, maybe something else altogether.
