Germany and Prague Part I: Frankfurt and Speyer |
I arrived in Flughafen Frankfurt (Frankfurt Airport--FRA) on the early, dark morning of December 29, 2000. My friend Peter and I headed straight to the city of Frankfurt for some sightseeing. The rest of the weekend we spent in Mannheim (sorry, no pictures of that). New Year's Eve was spent eating, drinking, and shooting off fireworks with Peter's friends in Dudenhofen. New Year's Day we went to nearby Speyer to see the largest creche (sp?) in Germany at the Speyer Dom (cathedral), and window shop. |
