  1. The child will have someone their own maturity to play with.
  2. They would have plenty of rattles, shakers, and things to beat on.
  3. Both can count to four.
  4. You can always depend on them because the money you pay them will be better than what they would make at the gig.
  5. They will always have a girl friend or mother checking in on them.
  6. Much experience sitting in one place.
  7. The child can be a good influence on the drummer.
  8. Fast hands to catch the little ones.
  9. Both child and drummer can relate because they have seen a purple dinosaur at one time or another.
  10. Where else are they gonna hang and not get into trouble?
