Born in San Pedro, Buenos Aires, Mr Adrover is a celebrated interpreter, composer, conductor and arranger who is one of the most distinguished and recognized musicians on the international scene. His compositions cover a wide range of forms and styles.

He began bandoneón studies at age eight with Oscar Luengo. After graduating from the National Conservatory of Music, he studied harmony, composition and orchestration with Pedro Aguilar. Mr Adrover made his professional debut in 1959 at the broadcast radio stations LR 6 Radio Mitre and LS 6 Radio Porteña. Following two years of study in Europe, he returned to Buenos Aires in 1970 to join the orchestra of José Basso. In the course of his five-year association with that ensemble, he toured frequently to Japan and the U.S. In addition to his solo and directorial career, he became a member and arranger of the legendary Osvaldo Pugliese Orchestra from 1976-1978. In 1979, Mr Adrover toured throughout France and founded the Ensemble Porteño with Miguel Varvello, with whom he recorded the album, Despartar en Buenos Aires. Between 1980 and 1985, he was intensely involved in recording sessions - creating compositions for the music industry, television and films.

In 1985, he toured throughout South America conducting his ensemble. That same year, he was invited to join the orchestra of Osvaldo Berlingieri as a first bandoneón. Mr Adrover partnered with pianist and composer Berlingieri to publish and record an album for Warner Brothers. Also in 1985, he became a member of the internationally acclaimed touring company, Tango Argentino, performing in 50 cities throughout the world and spent six years associated with the show. In 1990, he became composer, arranger and music director of the Forever Tango company. Mr Adrover periodically tours the world with his own quintet, performing at different cultural events sponsored by the Argentine government.
