Knights are usually strong human solders, who make a living through slaying beasties or setting out upon unrealistic quests (a famous example is the holy grail). All Knights have a strong sence of honour, and uphold it with their lives. In this, Knights are known to make trustworthy allies and dangerous enemies.
Although they may sometimes be foolish, they aren't stupid, and make sure to train themselves well in their villages. However, as they tend to train in small and poverty stricken towns, not all weapons are avalable for them to learn how to use. They do make up for this but having a limited knowledge of spells, which is normal for all humans to learn.

Like Knights, Wizards are usually humans who dedicate their lives to either making their fame or fortune, while slaying a few Beasties and Elves here and there. Unlike Knights, however, Wizards usually come from aristocratic families, and are well trained in the fine arts of magic (usually white magic, but there are the occasional Wizards who explore the forbidden tomes of the black arts). A true Wizard will value knowledge far more than he values riches or his companaions, and they are often known to betray each other when ever a tome is discovered. Wizards find it hard to get a strong foothold out in the forest, but the ones who survive are the ones to fear.

Ever since the Ancient Schism, long before any written documents, there has always been great tensions between Elves and Humans. The ancient stories say that the more aggressive Humans drove the Elves into the forest, where the Humans feared to tread. Instead of dying out, the Elves adapted to their new home, and became prosperous once again. Today Elves and Humens trade and sometimes travel together, but there are many tribes which lothe the Humans with passion and are known to rally attacks on Human trade routes. Elves are skilled in all attributes, and are good all-rounders, although they lack in the more extremes on both areas of magic and strength.

Dwarves aren't really interested in the forest. It has no gold/gem/iron deposits and the twigs and things on the ground make underground city building impossible. However its full of elves and humans. The dwarves don't really like either (they hog all the minable land) and are always ready to lend a helping battleaxe at groin level. If they fail they can always get a job shouting "A plane! A plane!" on some island or other.

Necromancer: L2W / L5M
Strength: 3
Magic: 12
Dexterity: 3
Endurance: 500
Mana: 500

Money: 50 gold peices

Base Attack: Ghost Bolt (M - 25 damage)
It is said that behind every living man stand (or more likely lurk) thirty ghosts, for that is the number by which the dead outnumber the living. Certain individuals (mostly those who were picked on at wizard school) realise the potential an undead army has. They set out on the path of necromancy (its the one with lots of memorial flowers on the roadside). They don't really like the forest, preferring something a little more barren. However as the death toll of adventurers who meet their end in the forest increases so will the number of creepy people dressed in black.
