Fenrir's servants. Once the larva matures, it steals leafe from the plants and people around it to sent to Fenrir. Appear to be red snow up until they land on earth, at which point they become seeds until they root and mature.

Was one of Natsue's classmates when they were younger. He now works as Natsue's chouffer. At age 28, he is already balding from the stress he endures living at the Awayuki mansion.

The Princess of Disaster. Uses the demon larva as her servants. It's discovered in Vol. 2 that Fenrir is Takako, a fellow Prétear.

The Leafe Knight of Fire. Works at the resturant Bistro Blanche. Uses "Fire Axe" as prétear attack.

The Leafe Knight of Water. Uses "Water Flail" as prétear attack.

16-year-old girl who is discovered to be the Prétear. The task of caring for her family (she and her father) fell to her after her mother's untimely death when she was still a child. As a result of this and her martail arts training (she has a blackbelt in the Sinister Path House Style of Karate), she can be rather rough at times and is often labeled as "crude" or "ill-mannered" by her new family. Despite her dificulties fitting in with her new high-class family, Himeno does her best to stay positive and form close ties with those she now lives with.

The Knights of Leafe are sworn to protect all Leafe on earth. When one préts with the Prétear a new power is born. The Knight's are from Leafenia, though they also live in the human world. The Knight's and their powers include the following:

The most beautiful girl at Hakutoku Academy, she has fan clubs of her own in middle school, high school, and college. Being at the top of her class and impeccably well mannnered, she is also well versed in the arts and music, and is a big fan of Sasame's Word's Gate. Fenrir uses her to her own advantage in her efforts to destroy leafe. She and her sister, Mayune, were named after the main characters in Kaoru's book 'Twin Princess'.

A very rich family who basically controls the town, she renamed everthing from the Hojo family name to Awayuki when she remarried. She loves reading romance novels, especially Kaoru's, and even named her two daughters after the main characters in his book 'Twin Princess'.

The Princess of Light. When merged with one of the Knights, she transforms into an all-powerful defender of life. Takako is the first Prétear in the series, followed by Himeno, though Takako's position as Prétear isn't known at first until she goes up against Himeno and the Knights.

The Leafe Knight of Sound. Works as a radio personality for Worlds Gate. Uses "Sonic Arrow" as prétear attack. Abandons the Knights in Vol. 3 to follow his love, Takako. In the manga, Sasame makes up a song in response to the letters he gets on his show rather than just talking about it and giving advice.

One of the Knights of Leafe. Uses the release word "beyondios" to create a containment field when fighting the demon larva which separates the human world from the Leafenia and protects the human world from destruction during the battle. Also uses "les sheles" to seal demon larva and "le-aese" to simply grow his plants whether it be within or outside of battle.

Was once the Prétear before Himeno came. Turned into Fenrir when Hayate didn't return her feelings, deciding that she would destroy the world of peace she'd helped to create if things wouldn't go the way she wanted them to.

Small bubble-like creatures that can sense demon larva as well as the Knights of Leafe and the Prétear.

One of Himeno's friends from school; the two have been best friends since junior high.
