You've got spring fever, admit it! The birds are singing, the flowers are blooming, and nature is starting anew. How can you get ready for summer? Try these out and you'll be totally prepared when summer comes out in full force: * Get in shape. Start taking advantage of great-weather days - go out for a jog or a leisurely after-dinner walk. A brisk walk in the morning is also a great energizer. * Do your morning routine - outside. Don't just sit at the breakfast table drinking coffee, go sit out on the porch or front steps while you read the paper or eat breakfast. * Help out the birds. Put up a bird feeder or seeds or water for birds to reach. You can even leave nuts for the squirrels. Soon you'll bring nature right into your yard. * It's planting season. Gardening is very relaxing. Be a chile again and play in the mud while you tend flowers and vegetables for later home-grown meals. * Meet people. Humans are just as prone to the effect of spring air - so go out to picnics and barbecues, make new friends, play outdoors, and have a blast! |
