Mini massage is just a way to calm yourself with your own touch. Instead of a full blown massage session, you can stay calm with a quick massage on yourself. * Your neck and shoulders - use the balls of your fingers as well as your palms to knead your shoulders and press up and down your neck. Especially press behind ears and at the nape of the neck. * Hand massage - if fingers are cramped or if you have a headache, a hand massage may help. Start from the palm outward, pressing firmly toward the fingertips. Press the fleshy area between thumb and forefinger. * Foot massage - take off your shoes and socks and gently mssage feet with one or both hands. Press the inside of the foot, the heel, the balls of your feet, and toes. Don't forget the top of your foot. * As with any massage, make sure you wash your hands afterward. |
