WPeople judge you on your face, so it should look its best. But that doesn't mean a ton of makeup or plastic surgery. You just need simple, clean, bright skin and your own natural smile: * Ever notice how smooth and bright your skin is after a good night's sleep? There's a reason they call it "beauty sleep." Relax and drift off slowly, and sleep in comfort. Turn off the tv, the radio, any unnatural noises. Leave the window open, and sleep at least 8 hours. * Eat well. Varieties of fruits and vegetables are great for your skin, as are things with vitamins like vitamin E. Take a multivitamin supplement - most people need it. These foods have natural compounds and antioxidants that help prevent aging and weakening of your skin. Look out for food allergies, because without your knowing it, certain things can cause acne, oily skin, or dryness. * You only need a soft sponge and some gentle soap that isn't harsh or irritating to wash your face. You don't have to invest in rich and expensive creams, washes, foams to get perfect skin. A simple cleanser or soap made for your skin type, and a moisturizer for where you need it. If your skin is dry, use a slightly heavier moisturizer (even baby oil mixed with water is great!), and if you have combination skin, use it only on the dry areas. Oily skin needs none, or only an oil-free one. * Use the right temperature of water. It's tempting to turn up the heat on a cold morning, but instead use lukewarm or cool water, whether it's cold or hot out. It'll be good enough to wash away dirt and oil without drying your skin severely. * Smile! Avoiding your worry lines and relaxing your face and body are the best for looking your best. With such perfect skin, YOURS will be the freshest face around. |
