Did you know that having plants in your home can improve your mood and give you more oxygen? Plus it can give you a simple ritual that will take you through the week and help you stay calm. * Plant something easy to grow. Choose a money plant or jasmine or even a useful herb like basil that will grow easily. Ask someone at the store or nursery what's best suited for your climate. * For bright, colorful flowers, just buy a pot of flowers and plant it in fresh soil! Some flowers, like daisies, foxglove, etc. These will bloom year after year. * Water regularly. Set aside a good time to water (preferably in the morning) as often as specified. Never use very cold or scalding water to water your plants! Lukewarm tap water will do. And feed them with a fertilizer or liquid Miracle Grow on a regular basis. * Don't forget to talk to your plants. Like people, they enjoy stimulation (and they're great listeners!). Play them some classical music, have a conversation, and breathe deeply. They'll thrive in your company!
