rose Experience Wonder

Children have an amazing ability to look around and be fascinated by what they see. You CAN regain your sense of wonder, even now.

* Look around you. Whenever you travel, walk, keep your head up and look around. You might just be amazed by what you see, even if it's mundane. Maybe the flower hedge you pass everyday is blooming. Maybe the street musician's music will sound lovely today.

* Spend time with children and animals. Kids will be fascinated by little things - the weird shape of a cloud, the rippling of grass, the mud in a puddle. Dogs tend to be the same. Hang out with them and the effect could catch on!

* Read inspiring stories and view inspiring images. Take a trip to an art gallery, read some inspirational books, read Rose Is Rose or any comic strip.

* Make a note. If you like, you can create a Wonder Book. Take a blank journal or even a notepad and jot down a few things you find wonder-ful every day. Write as many or as few as you like. Describe them briefly or in detail, whatever inspires you!

* Look closely at some things. You'd be surprised that some things look really different up close. Guess on some or some REALLY close close-ups here.

* Don't try to be outdone by more and more violence or special effects on television or movies. Find the amazing in even the little things. After all, why are you so drawn to babies? Why do you find birth and death so incomprehensible? Why are you still awed by rainbows? It's all evidence that you haven't lost your sense of wonder.
