eremedies
Each month E-remedies brings you 10 more ways to help yourself. Some repeat, some are new, some are things you know. But they all help in some way. Here are chronicled all the ones we've sent you, and more:
* learn something new. Whether it's a new
hobby, a new language, anything, just learn.
* forgive. Find all those grudges you hold
and try to come to peace with them.
* vow never to be in debt or lend. Just give,
don't lend.
* laugh out loud. Do it until your stomach
hurts.
* sing in the shower. Don't worry about
people hearing you, even if you're off key.
* fight an injustice. Pick something you
believe in and do something to help that cause.
* help someone. Find someone who needs your
help and give them a hand.
* open the door for someone. Doesn't matter
if you're a man or a woman or what the other
person is, either.
* change your pillowcases. Clean, dust-free
sheets and pillows are a must for a healthy
lifestyle.
* Do something you fear. Is it public
speaking? Going on a rollercoaster?
Standing at the top of a building and
looking down? Whatever it is, confront
it.
* appreciate your life. There are so many things
in it to be happy for.
* find your natural beauty. Everyone has it, in
their laughing eyes, pretty smile, kindness. What's
your most beautiful part?
* solve a problem. Got something in your life
that needs fixing? Try fixing it yourself, by
finding out the right way.
* get off processed food for a week. Try out
all the different fruits and veggies you can.
* exercise not for your figure or your weight
or even your health, but to be happy.
* record your dreams. What do they mean to you?
* stop comparing yourself to others. No matter
who it is or how great. Be what YOU want to be.
* believe in yourself. Take a decision based on
your own inner will.
* do something many others don't - the road
less traveled.
* become an expert at something. Find your own
expertise in something you enjoy!
* travel the road less taken. Do something
you wouldn't normally do!
* daydream. Just sit around and wander off
into the land of stars and rainbows.
* look people in the eye. When you're talking
or when they are, practice looking people in
the eye.
* declare your opinions proudly. State them
almost as fact. Don't cringe when someone
refutes you.
* resolve never to ask "do I look fat?"
* do you know what time you were born?
When was it exactly? How did it happen? What
was going on that day in the world?
* find out your blood type. Now go donate
blood.
* memorize your social security number if
you haven't already. Then memorize your
driver's license number.
* believe in guardian angels. Talk to yours.
How did he or she help you this month?
* train to run a fast mile. Can you run a
mile now? Try it!
* Take photos. Remember the little moments, and
put them in black and white as well.
* Laugh. LOUDLY! Roll on your tummy and on
the floor and laugh some more.
* Find out your family tree. Make one. Ask around
and get it.
* Learn about a religion different from your own.
Learn something you know for sure is true about
every major religion.
* Recycle everything you can.
* Tell someone you trust your deepest, darkest
secret.
* Stop being mad at the people on the road.
Resolve never to curse them.
* Have an imaginary $100,000 and pick some
stocks. How did you do at the end of the month?
* Memorize that September 22, 1862 is the day
the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.
* Watch a foreign film in a language you don't
understand.
* Know a new date: August 26, 1920 was when women
first got the right to vote in America. That's
one of the latest dates of women's voting in the world!
* Stop apologizing for stuff you're not responsible
for. Don't say sorry when it's not your fault or
you can't control it.
* Watch a foreign movie, but without the subtitles.
* Go rock climbing.
* Read some stories by O. Henry.

you are.
* Learn to recognize a few constellations. Look
up at the sky!
* Get a pen pal and write to him or her. It should
be a real letter!

of talking on the phone (NOT tv) - or meet in
person!
