The World of Remelia

Crude but effective.

Completed Locations

As the mud grows, additional locations will be added to the map. Below is a list of areas that are currently open.

Elren

This small, ebony-walled down lies against the western base of the Aerethi Plateau. Elren’s primary population is human, though due to its centralized location other races are common and in fact often welcomed, particularly for the trade items they often bring with them. The town is governed by a governor, elected democratically every ten years, though generally a governor will remain in office for life due to Elren’s recurring tendency to vote for a previously successful leader. Law is enforced in Elren by the Elren Guard, who can be identified by the red sash they wear, and by their insignia, two crossed red swords.

South - to Aerethi Cliffs. West - to Ebon Forest. North - to Rahahn.

Aerethi Cliffs

This region can be extremely dangerous due to the raiders and wildlife in the region, and for the most part travel between Aerethi and Elren alone is not recommended.

West - to Elren.

Rahahn

This extremely small group of dwellings is carved directly into the face of the northern cliffs. Most of its inhabitants work for the Rahahn Miner’s Guild, a wealthy organization that controls the profitable mining operation in Rahahn. Predictably, the guild operates most levels of political control in Rahahn.

West - to Elren and Ebon Forest.

Ebon Forest
Partially complete, 6.30.03

The Ebon Forest is a vast, dangerous, unpredictable region. The deeper into the forest one ventures, the greater the dangers become. Large groups are typically the only way to survive this forest. Lone travelers are either insane or foolish. Which is just as well, perhaps, for they say that if the Ebon Wood doesn't kill you, it drives you mad.

East - to Elren. North - to Rae’seheln Dungeons.

Rae’seheln Dungeons

These dungeons are run by the elven family Rae’seheln. These dungeons are presently being used for imprisonment of criminals whose local governments felt no further need to attend to them. Though the dungeons themselves are not open to the public, it is well known that the Rae’seheln run an arena above the dungeons for the purpose of blood sports with the expendable criminals of Remelia.

South - to Ebon Forest.
