Og 21 1989
Since vinyl seemed to be quickly disappearing as a musical medium, What Wave naturally felt the urge to team up with fellow anachronists Gerard and Tony at Og Records to produce a wax compliation of some of the many bands we'd featured in the zine over the years. Featuring a funky cover by What Wave resident Artiste, Dave Clarke this album is a wyld mix of the many different garage sounds that were being cranked out in the heydays of the eighties. From psychedelia, to pop to guitar rock this album samples all flavours of North Amercian garage rock. There are but a few copies left in the What Wave archives, please e-mail for information.
