RENE & FRIENDS, OUT & ABOUT
Siobhan is Sydney for a few days, staying at the Sheraton
(huh!) and we always make a point to go out somewhere when she is
in town, so I booked a table at Gekko's Restaurant, in the Hotel.
Erica and I arrived at the Sheraton, and sauntered through the
lobby like we owned the place. What a thrill! We went to
Siobhan's room, met her and Kimberley and chatted for a while,
then we all went downstairs for dinner. We had a delicious meal,
a few wines and chatted away, then came dessert! I had to pass,
and just ordered coffee but then the chef sent our table some
extra desserts to try, with his compliments! This is one
restaruant I must visit again, as we left, the staff even lined
up at the door to say goodnight!
We went back up to Siobhan's room and
ordered some more wine, and we chatted till the early hours.
Erica had her new camera and was dying to use it, so we took a
few pics.
We thought of a great way to show the girls from downunder!
*giggles*
The next outing for the girls was a dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. It was the same foursome, myself Erica, Siobhan and Kimberley, although we were supposed to meet a girl called Andrea at the Cafe. We were late, which was my fault, I had to work late, and a girl can take forever to get dressed.*blush*. We had a nice dinner and a great chat, and as always a few laughs.. Here is a pic of us out the front. (I am the blonde..)
