I have a web programmer friend who is assigned as a purchaser via online and showcasing the product for the company to use. One of the products ordered was shipped but it was not as it was specified therefore my friend returns the product shouldered the shipping and a few weeks later a notice came to his office that the product was returned and the invoice is to be paid because the product once it is shipped then it should be counted as SOLD. The situation was brought to the management concern but it had caused him alot of communication at the cost of the company he is working with and of course with his will that it will be solved, he spent a little of his time to prevent the situation from going out of bounce and will make him loss his job.
The situation is a problem of social justice and at the same time a consumer justice since the consumer is part of the society then this must be a social concern. In addtion to credit card scam via purchase on the internet is the social justice on hiding several information to the user. Mostly a market vendor, a salesmen will say the good things about the product. Example the combo drive that is a CD ROM and at the same time a CD WRITER. To the salesmen who wants to profit on both CDROM, he have to sell also the CD ROM and say that its better than having the COMBO drive since the wear and tear of the combo drive is much higher risk than having separate media that is separate CD ROM and CD Writer. The technology have tested this combo drive to last and that it should meet the consumers investment for the equipment. Doing so in the process mean injustice to the society.
