Freewheel’n #2
April - May, 2006
Thank God…Spring has returned and we can return to our
bikes!! We also need to thank both Jim
Gullo and Kolman Kleinbord for bringing back the Spoke’n Word. RePete was beginning to believe that we had
seen the last of this great publication.
Thank you Jim. Thank you
Kolman. I trust the entire membership
joins me in appreciating your efforts in resurrecting our newsletter. I pledge my support and help and ask all our
members to do the same. We are one of a
rare few bicycling clubs to offer a monthly publication…please send in your
messages of appreciation.
Moving on…the annual Bicycling buyers guide has been
released. Oh what dream bikes and these
on in the April issue that is now available.
On page 66 is a sweet looking honey.
This is the Teramo from Litespeed.
Made of titanium and priced at a mere $2,999. Best of all…made here in the USA. Click here for a great
listing of the bikes by category with prices! This is a great place to start if thinking of replacing or
getting a new steed. All is not lost if
you can’t afford the bike of your dreams.
There is a contest in that will allow you to win any of these bikes
up to a maximum of $4,999. So…run down
to the store and get this issue.
Now ladies, excuse me as I talk with the guys. We all know all biking and no play make us
dull. Well the April issue of Esquire
has a great article about the “10 Things You Don’t Know About Women.” I’ll start you off with #10. “Men are free to think they’re the boss, as
long as they know we’re (women) the chairman of the board.” Now…what else is within this issue? Well another contest for the best dressed
real man in America. Simply go to
Esquire.com to sign-up. Oh…just happen
to notice some nice photos of Rosario Dawson.
In the February issue was a great instructional manual on the Art of
Buying Lingerie. To help us guys out
with this complicated subject, click here for a great picture.
Let’s get back to cycling…check out my upcoming Peach
Blossom ride on April 8. Details are
located else where in this newsletter or check my website under Quest
Tours. Hope to see many of you there.
