Freewheel’n...January, 2000!

We have arrived in the year 2000, a brand new year...a brand new decade...a brand new century! What will these bring? What happened with the Y2K bug? How were the holidays?

As this is written, none have yet happened. I am anxious to get started. There is much to be done. I suffered a very disappointing cycling year. This was the result of life’s circumstances. Fortunately, these issues are being resolved. That now the case, cycling should play a larger part the year ahead.

Yes, RePete will be back riding. At this part a target of 2,000 mile in the year 2000 is being considered. What does that mean to you? Look forward to more tours. The Peach Blossom will arrive in April. This will be followed with the Smithville Tour, Atlantic Highlands and others.

How can you stay advised of these events. Go to RePete’s web site. You can find all Freewheel’n submissions available. Then enter Quibbles...there are a variety of topics . Currently featured is a special holiday message. You can find information about riding techniques for us roadies. Quotes is where your comments are found. Quest Tours are all the rides. You can also access the weather conditions. Then there are the Q-Ads. Yes, you can shop on-line! What else...well there are links to other sites including that of the SJW’s new web site.

Please pass any suggestions along to me. Looking forward to an exciting year riding with you!

Safe Cycling,

RePete

You can now visit Quibbles. This area provides thought provoking insight into topics of current intertest and importance to the bicyclist with that unique slant that can only be from RePete.

Then there are the Quale sites where topics are varied, like the highly imaginative Tales of Pauline.

Also visit the Quote site that contain your comments. Here you will find submissions on Bicyclist Against Helmets and many other issues and links. Additionally, don’t forget to visit the South Jersey Wheelmen or the Outdoor Club of South Jersey or the S.O.R.E. Club web sites.
