Atlas Reploid (Homonid)--

The Atlas Reploid is based on the original designs of Dr. Light and Dr. Wily. While they have been improved upon, they are nothing more than updated robots. Atlas Reps posses a Central Processing Unit (or brain as it is more commonly called), power source (most usually a plasma generator, although different power sources have been noted), and all the appendages to make them appear as human as possible. They, walk, talk, blink, and think. With various upgrades they can even feel emotions, although they aren't as in-depth as the Prometheus reploid.
Atlas Reps posses all required sensors, including the touch sensors that many previous models did not posses. But the feeling sensors are rudimentary and don't understand how to feel pleasure or pain, although they can feel if something is hard or soft and can even note texture. Another characteristic of Atlas Reploids is that they don't breath or require nurishment. Like all reploids, Atlas Reps require a recharging period of a few hours. Extreme heat also does tend to bother them, causing their circuits to overheat and become inoperable. The framing an Atlas is built on is made of tritanium and is quite heavy. An Atlas standing 6'0 with a moderate build would weigh in at almost 500 lbs.
Unlike the Prometheus reploid, an Atlas can choose to have it's frame changed out. The frame choices being either the default tritanium, tritanium being a heat resistant metalloid often used in the creation of armor, or with a dermaplast frame, dermaplast being an impact resistant plastic that is signifcantly lighter than tritanium, and also significantly weaker. With the dermaplast frame, the weight is lowered to 200 lbs and the speed is increased 2X, but makes the Atlas more subceptable to physical damage seeing as the dermaplast isn't as strong as the Tritanium.
