Message from the Director

It is now a demand of time to add energy with the 5 basic needs of a person. Renewable Energy sources are gradually replacing traditional energy sources. To find new environment friendly renewable energy sources, new technologies, technology improvement research works are going on worldwide. To walk in harmony with the rest of the world University of Dhaka established this Renewable Energy Research Centre with a Energy park on its premises. A number of rich research works have done by the researchers of this organization.

RERC is now rich with lab facilities, an apt research team. Researchers have been trained in RETScreen, HOMER, PVSYST, HYBRID2, VIPOR, WAsP.

In parallel with the research activities RERC is now conducting academic courses to develop manpower in this area.
