   It has come to my Attention and that of are Family, That Someone is going around the Confederate Cemetery at Resaca, Ga. Saying they are my brother Richard and trying to get Donations for the Confederate Cemetery.

People this is a State Owned Property and is the Sole Responsibility of the State of Georgia to care for, If you would like to give money for the care and up keep of the Cemetery you should contact Mr. Donald Evans at 404.656.6614 of the Georgia Building Authority, this is the state Agency that is in charge of the Resaca Confederate Cemetery and Mr. Evans will tell you as to how and if you can donate to the Cemetery.

Please DO NOT give money to anyone that says they are taking Donations for this Cemetery, My Brother Past away last August and there is a person using his name and saying he is Collecting for the Cemetery. If you should visit and we hope you will, please do not get taken in by this person. For the 6 years that my brother and myself have had contact with and done Research on the Resaca Confederate Cemetery, we have never as for money from anyone and intend to never do so. If you care for the Cemetery as we do and wish to see it taken care of or have concerns PLEASE CONTACT the Georgia Building Authority and speak to Mr. Donald Evans, He is a nice person and does care what happens to the cemetery and he is new so it will take time to get to know more that is needed to be done.
