(THE SOCIETY FOR THE TERMINATION OF ART IN THE YEAR 2003) PROCLAMATION 2: Building The Necropolis Culture is a corpse, a stinking, rotting corpse, its putrid flesh and bones picked over by those so contaminated with filth they have grown used to the stench or are simply too stupid to notice. Culture is dead. All that remains now is to bury it. We have been chosen by 'The Revealed One'- who teaches that history is necrophilia- to come to earth and bury the alien culture. We demand that at midnight 23/01/2003 all art terminate forever. We demand that at midnight 23/01/2003 all arists renounce their lives as a worthless sham. At midnight on 25/01/2003 the 'termination of art' ceremony will begin. The ceremony will take place at the Necropolis (Glasgow) and will consist of cremating the body of culture so that its virus is consumed in flames and contamination can never occur again. The ashes will then be buried beneath the statue of John Knox. The Necropolis is our sacred site and from here the 'Termination Of Art' ceremony will be broadcast live on all channels to every TV set in the world, for when culture is finally destroyed all that will be left on earth will be television. The climax of the ceremony will be when the presence of 'The Revealed One' appears as a large orange conflagration in the sky. We will then be called to return to our master and as his shining presence confounds the congregated masses, 'The Chosen' will dissappear. At this point the ceremony will end. 			LEVITATING THE GLASGOW GALLERY OF MODERN ART The Society for the Termination of Art (S.T.A.R.T.), whose manifesto proclaims "culture is dead, all that remains now is to bury it", are planning to levitate the new Glasgow Gallery of Modern Art, on Friday 29th March at Midnight! The levitation aims to highlight the cultural imperialism behind the council's £3 million investment in the new gallery. Furthermore the Society for the Termination of Art believe there to be an occult cultural conspiracy at the heart of Glasgow's establishment which manifests itself in the choice for a new gallery site. Formerly Stirling's Library in the centre of Royal Exchange Square, the building was originally built in 1780 by William Cunningham of Lainshaw. It has been alleged that as well as being one of Glasgow's 'Tobacco Lords' William Cunningham was a Grand Master of the Freemasons and a leading light in the secret sect 'The Illuminati' An 'Occultural Conspiracy' reigned in Nineteenth Century Glasgow as the building was taken over in 1817 by the Royal Bank of Scotland and again in 1827 by the Stock Exchange itself. This collusion of occult forces and capitalism was maintained for well over a century until the people of Glasgow interuppted the reign in 1949 when Glasgow Corporation aquired the building for Stirling's Library. But the peace has now been broken and occult forces are set once again to rule over Glasgow. It has been uncovered that the centre of Royal Exchange Square, the site of the new Gallery of Modern Art, lies on a ley-line. If you take a straight line through a map of Glasgow's City Centre from the statue of John Knox in the Necropolis, through Glasgow Cathedral, you pass through the City Chambers and Royal Exchange Square. The Line terminates at Ibrox Stadium. This urban ley-line was discovered by the Society for the Termination of Art who believe it is their responsibility to the people of Glasgow to expose the cultural conspiacy in their midst. 			MANIFESTO OF NON MOVEMENT STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLES. All thought processes and belief systems past and present are hereby considered to be obselete and therefor extinct. No obsolete thought shall be entertained by any individual at any point in time whatsoever. Any individual discovered harbouring obselete thoughts or clinging to outmoded belief systems shall be persecuted to the point where their rational thought disintegrates and they are left in a state of nature (i.e. they are to be laughed at until they start to cry). The Non Movement plan is to re-oreintate the entire human process of thought We are against Western scientific rationalism which shamelessly led to the construction of the concentration camp and the atom bomb. We are simultaneously against the 'phony war' conducted by the Avant Garde, and their attack mounted on Western Scientific Rationalism- which amounted to no more than a retreat into Oreintalism and Occultism which only served to speed up the construction of the concentration camp and the atom bomb. We demand the dismantling of the atom bomb of rationalism - the concept. But with what do the Not Movement wish to replace Western Rationalism and outmoded belief systems? The answer is simple - NOTHING! To exchange one system of thought with another would be like voting in a General Election, i.e. power changing hands without changing it's nature. This would be to enter into a binary relationship with the enemy: logic.
