Piyaporn Hawiset

My name is Piyaporn Hawiset. I was born in Mahasarakham Province, Thailand on 27 January 1980 and have lived there all my life. My parents are teachers. I have no brothers and one sister. I am currently (1998) studying nursing at Mahidol University in Bangkok. However, because I come from the northeast region of Thailand which is very poor I am also interested in development issues, particularly about Thailand and Southeast Asia.

My friends tell me the following about myself:

I am a polite and impartial person. They say I am a pretty girl but you must judge for yourself. They say I am a responsible person.

I am active in sports. My favourite sports are Swimming and Tennis.

Now I live at Mahidol University. In the future I will be a nurse.

My favourite food is Salad.

My favourite English song is I Miss You Like Crazy.

My hobby is reading cartoon books.

My favourite movie star is Captain.

I learned English first in Prathom 5 (Grade 5 elementary school) at Banborabu School in Mahasarakham Province. I graduated Mathayom 6 (like Grade 12) from Kaennakhonwittayalai School, Khonkaen Province. The subject I liked most in Mathayom 1 to 6 was Mathematics.
