Resistor Profiles

Kyle Gear (Gear):

A smart and tactical guy with a good sense of justice and a big heart.
Gear is the son of one of the original heroes, a great scientist called Andrew
Gear.
Gear has a younger brother called Dave, both are orphans since the Alcath
incident which ended the life of their father, their mother died a long time ago
in a cavern sacrificing her life to save Dave.
Gear specialises in robotics and can create just about anything, and his
scientific skills are almost unmatched.
He’s also the leader of the Resistors, though he isn’t the most powerful of the
group, his strategic skills and planning have been a great asset to the
Resistance.

Ross Rook (Ross):

Kind, brave but short tempered, he’s very protective of others but sometimes
endangers his own life to keep others safe.
Ross and Gear have been best friends since childhood, and Ross has trained for
years to become a knight like his legendary father, who once worked alongside
the king of Scion.
Ross was said to have trained enough, but he lost control after his father was
slain by Brutor of the empire, it cost him his left arm and almost his life.
Ross had to cope with looking different ever since Gear replaced his lost arm
with a robotic one.
Ross has since accepted this and participated in an experiment to strengthen his
bones with metal in order to perform great tests of strength when combined with
his metal arm.
Along with his skills with a sword, Ross is a crucial member of the Resistors
who has proved his worth time and time again.

Roberto Ruwin (Rob' Ruwin):

A womanising, vain but impressive warrior with almost unbelievable skills.
He was a mercenary for many years before the Resistance, though he didn’t
prioritise money over the well being of the innocent, unlike his long time
friend and partner, Tyrone Tondieos (T').
Ruwin left his old mercenary group at the same time that T’ did, but Ruwin did
it to look after a childhood friend, who he’d fallen for.
It didn't work out and Ruwin was instructed by his father to join the Resistance
when the empire was formed, Ruwin currently serves as leader of the Resistance’s
spies and an occasional Resistor.
Ruwin is a showoff and chats up practically every woman he sees, he’s quite
persistent, a free spirit and doesn't take certain situations as seriously as he
should.
Ruwin fights with powerful punches and kicks, and is known for his amazing
acrobatic skills, the only weapon he uses are the knuckle dusters.

Kirie Jay (Kirie):

Kirie is a caring and wise girl but is sometimes uncertain and shy.
Though Kirie is a half Gaian, her mother made it so that she wouldn’t inherit
the powers that ultimately destroyed her.
Kirie joined the empire in order to spare her village because she felt an
outcast due to what once happened with her mother.
There she worked as Morn’s assistant until an accident occurred and Morn
discovered her roots, he then performed an experiment which gave Kirie great
psychic powers, but left her with strange scars that led Kirie to hide her face
and leave the empire.
As a Resistor, she’s become a little more comfortable around others but wears
clothing to hide her unnatural scars.
Kirie’s powers focus many around the offensive side of psychic abilities, she
can send visible waves, blasts and projectiles to destroy her enemies, teleport,
and attack through the mind, this isn’t the limit of her powers as Kirie has
shown new abilities and better control of them as time went on.

Princess Edwina Scion (Edwina):

Edwina is a shy but polite girl that has slowly come out of her shell and
expressed herself.
Though not many know it, she is the princess of the Scion kingdom, who lost her
family and home when the empire took it over.
She became extremely withdrawn while the evil Morn performed extensive tests in
order to copy her great magical powers inherited from the queen of Gaians,
Elenora.
She met Ross early on when she nearly destroyed a town under Morn’s control, and
his promise to save her gave her some hope until the day she was freed from the
empire.
Because of a rumour made by the empire, Edwina decided against telling the
Resistors about who she really was, in case they believed she was an evil being
that murdered her father.
Edwina is very close with Kirie, but Ross as well, seeing as he acts like
Edwina’s bodyguard whenever he can.
Edwina is a pretty good archer, and she always has her powerful plasma magic to
fall back on, even though she holds back her full potential.

Turok Adulen (Turok):

Since his transformation, Turok’s personality is strong, protective, but
sometimes brash and reckless.
Turok is one of twins, he and his sister Tanya were abandoned in the village of
Grautz, Turok grew up in a happy environment with his sister and close friend
until the empire was formed, he went along with them in return for Grautz’s
safety.
At the empire, he conversed with a group of people who’d also been forced into
the empire (most of which would become Resistors in the future), and there he
met the girl of his dreams, Lucia, and soon the two were dating.
This got tangled up in the affairs of Krytus and Lucia’s sister Helena, and as a
result, Krytus forced Turok into being the first of Morn’s test subjects to turn
people into powerful machines.
Turok later broke free of the empire’s control and ran into the Resistors, who
eventually believed his tale and allowed him to join them.
Since then Lucia joined the Resistors, and Turok’s life has felt complete
despite being trapped as a machine, he has a purpose, responsibilities, a cause
worth fighting for and his love by his side.
Turok has a lot of power and defense, plus a gun arm which can fire great
amounts of powerful energy given enough time to charge.

Lucia Corelle (Lucia):

Lucia is also a twin, hers and Helena’s parents were great but retired
warriors.
After the empire came into their lives and turned them upside down, their
parents were killed, Helena changed dramatically and she and Lucia ended up in
the empire.
The only real good there was her meeting Turok, and although she had some minor
problems with him, when he was transformed into a robot, Lucia realised how
little they mattered and how much Turok meant to her, she attempted to avenge
him but was also transformed.
She escaped the empire and was later reunited with Turok, where she accepted to
become a Resistor.
Lucia hasn’t the power that Turok has, but many abilities to make up for it, she
can fight physically with fighting claws, has a mixture of different abilities
in her gun arm, a jet pack that allows her to fly, and the potential to run at
extreme speeds.

Naga of Yura (Naga):

Naga is a stubborn young girl, she’s very determined but easily angered.
Naga lost both her parents at a young age, and was expected to rule her tribe
not too long after, she failed to defend it from a monstrous demon called the
Beast, which led to her leaving her home thinking she would have been exiled and
left for dead.
She met the Resistors soon after, who saved her life from the Beast, and she’s
remained with them since.
Naga fights with amazing agility and the dexterity of a jungle cat, she wields a
long whip and hunting daggers.

Samia (Samia):

Once a carefree girl, her world was torn apart from the empire, which led her
towards an old but skilled warrior called the Great Elder.
There she erased her old identity and took on a new one after donning a mask,
and took the name Samia.
Ever since Dagger trained under the Great Elder, Samia has looked out for him
and is one of the few people he talks openly to.
Ever since the death of the Great Elder and joining the Resistors under his
instruction, Samia has been very concerned about the change in Dagger, and is
usually seen at his side.
Samia’s primary weapon is her long samurai sword, but she’s very able in a
fight, even without her weapon of choice.

Earl Winters (Dagger):

Dagger is easily the darkest member of the Resistors, usually silent, he speaks
little words and tends to focus on the current or next battle.
Dagger used to be a very different person before the empire, but lost his home
and his friend when they ran amok through his town.
He ended up in the Great Elder’s home where he trained for some time and
repressed a dark side that had surfaced in him.
After the Revenge Clan killed his sensei, Dagger chased down one of the demons
and destroyed him, but Scorn was able to enter Dagger and permanently become a
part of him.
Since then, Dagger’s has fought a personal battle against his literal inner
demon, and sometimes fights with mercilessly, but has casually used the demon’s
supernatural powers once in a while.
Dagger is skilled as a ninja, and his accuracy is close to perfection, he
normally uses weapons of the same name, but always carries extras to throw
around.
