Managed a web team of 6 individuals, each specializing in one or more areas of NT-based Programming, Linux-based Programming, Content Providing, Computer Graphics, Web Layout, and Client-based Programming (JavaScript, VBScript).
Configured, maintained, and updated Web servers in both NT and Linux environments, specifically Microsoft NT IIS, and Linux based Apache. Maintenance on NT IIS included installing service packs, configuring SSL for e-commerce, and creating and updating DNS entries for virtual services. Personnel Tracking System - Performed similar services to an "in/out" board, but based on Intranet web server. Personnel were segregated by department, and integrity was maintained by allowing internal systems unrestricted access to the program while external users (telecommuters/on-road) had to login and were allowed access only to specific departments.
Project Tracking System - Internal tracking system for all commercial and internal projects. Key features provided by system included tracking all projects assigned to individuals including current level of completion as well as detailed communication in information provided by supervisors.
Surveying System - The parent company requested occasional surveys to be answered by appropriate departments. A generic survey system was developed which allowed officers of the company to create surveys and email departments with notification of the new survey. Results would be tabulated and presented to appropriate officers in a graphic format.
