Minutes
Corrections –
Shopping instead of “shoipping” Anne moved to approve the corrected minutes from the previous meeting and Anthony seconded. Minutes approved by those in attendance.
Motion to ACCEPT minutes by Isela seconded by Donna.
Treasurer’s Report - Kathy Butler
Current balance in checking is: $ 11,226.38. Savings is $3,751.43. Our Total is: $15,027.81.
Bills –
Transportation-$1772.50 for Fairfield
Mr wong $135.82 for concert dress
Mr wong $758.16 for Santa Cruz t-shirts

Anne moved to pay bills. Isela seconded. Motion passed by those in attendance.

Fundraising Report - Anthony Nunes
Shop Amazon.com for Christmas/holiday shoipping
$130 was raised at the Pizza Italia fundraising day, Saturday November 12^th.
There are no food fundraising nights scheduled for the next two months.
Fundraising for Winter Guard/Winter Percussion – Hershey’s candy will be sold.
There is a Jazz Dinner Dance meeting after this BPO mtg.

Old Business
We are still working on a thank you gift from the band for Mr. Chamberlain.

See PTSA website for fundraising drive for the marquee. The PTSA asked for our help to write solicitation letters, ask for donations. The marquee project is a group effort between the athletic boosters, PTSA, Band Parent Organization, and the school. Over 50% of the money for the marquee has been fundraised. They are looking at a February start date. If anyone is interested in donating, then go to the PTSA web site, or see Anne Damron.

New Business
Winter percussion & guard. We will need truck rental for the 3 dates. How much equipment do we have, which will determine size of the rental truck. We will use the same size truck as last year. Scott and Isela will drive the truck on different dates. There was a discussion of other needs, e.g. uniforms, parent support during competition days.

Honor band tapes are due Friday, December 16. Concert is in February, 2006

Winter Concert and dessert is on Jan. 12, 2006.
Letters will go out with dessert and soda requests.
It is a fundraiser for the music program.
We will hold a 50/50 drawing.

Anne Damron suggested that we move our trailer to a locked area of the school, for increased security and protection. Anne will contact the principal.

Denise moved to adjourn the meeting and Isela seconded. Meeting adjourned 8:07 pm.
